President Muhammadu Buhari has Appoint Ogboonaya Orji as NEITI boss, effective from 19/02/2021 for a single term of 5 years

Director information Willie Bassey in the Office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Thursday said the appointment was in accordance with the provision of section 12 (2) (a) and 6 (3) of the Nigeria Industries Transparency Initiative. 

The appointment of Dr. Ogbonnaya Orji as the Executive Secretary of Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative for a single term of five year was Approved by the President Muhammadu Buhari which take effect from February 19, 2021 

NEITI was established in 2004 as the key anti-corruption agency at the presidency responsible for enthroning transparency, accountability of the country's oil, gas and mining industries.

He has work with Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria also with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Bsc, Msc and PhD in Political Economy and International Development from University of Abuja and he has manage several donor-fund project.
